–Looked much younger to me as I drew her compared to the age she passed(this image she said is her 30 years ago/before passing)

-Dry cracked lips- had trouble drinking water at the end 

-Large country kitchen with lower ceilings 

-Earth living – garden, herbs

-She had a loving and classy style to her

-Hands strong firm larger knuckles and longer fingers

-Kind loving, yet stern

-Held her ground for the right reasons

-Marching band -band in school

-Liked earrings but stopped wearing them- they hung too low in her ears

-Female, thin short hair

-White dress- she likes my hat I’m wearing today and she loved wearing hats too

-Hands full of arthritic bumps with long thin fingers

-Height approximately 5’5” to 5’8”

-She loved her rubber boots and working in the garden

-Sunflowers- she was like this- strength and narrow in its path. It prides itself in its poise and strives to reach the sun.

-Hips hurt, sitting tall

-Puffy hands and reddish but loved to hold hands

-She was usually referred to as a “Lady”

-Shoes are light cream with a buckle, patent leather but light in colour.

-Heard Soft Mum- could be swayed by her kids. 

-Always saw the best in them

-I felt this woman to be heavier set and even so at the end of life

-Health condition caused weight gain

-Needed to draw light soft flower pattern on her over-nightgown – the kind older women wear over top of their long dress nightgown. 

-Hands strong

-Hard working

-Hormone issue- had facial hair but loss of hair and thinning of hair on the top of her head

-Names – that came through Charlotte, Marscotte

-Keen eye for knowing when someone wasn’t truthful

-Could be harsh but honest- I heard “sometimes honesty can hurt”

-If you wanted to know her opinion on something you would ask her because she wouldn’t lie

-She was brutally honest but thought that was more important
than being nice and lying

-She had a strong sense of sentiment and nostalgia

-Worried a lot about many things – sometime too much fear controlled her life

– Young spirit- holding my hand with tiny fingers and chubby arms

– This portrait ended up coming out not showing the young tender age that she came through to me at (looks more mature in this picture)

– Young beautiful naturally curly hair, soft auburn colour

– “An innocence immeasurable” is a saying I was hearing

– Summer fun is remembered- lots and lots of flowers in a large field  

– She is running through the flowers and tall grass in a yellow & white sundress

– Tall thin healthy build

– Adventurer – wanted challenges all the time

– Smart, educated- this came easy

– Had a tremendous appreciation for LIFE- lived life out loud!

– Always wanted to be married on the inside-tended to be single though

– Soft-hearted, kind, patient and giving

– Climbing, kayaking, high energy types of sports, loved the outdoors

– Was at peace with himself in the outdoors (mountains in the back behind him to the left)

– Melting eyes and smile

– Life cut short- Wasn’t himself at the time of passing

– Soft loving hands, she held my hand and massaged it. Very warm and gentle woman

– Caring and nurturing personality

– Earth lover, kind, kind to animals, flowers, forest and sun lover

– Thin naturally, listened to her own intuition- living how she felt she was being guided to

– She is showing me herself as a young woman- this is how she always felt on the inside

– Song playing I can hear – “Let it be” by the Beatles

– Passed in her 60’s – free spirited and often wore sundresses

– A lot of light and love shined through her

– Greyed naturally- didn’t die her hair

Message: Lack of intuition is not a problem- it is a simple listening skill. Listening to your heart/gut means following what your inner spirit is trying to tell you. Never underestimate it

– Seeing him wearing a red and black plaid thick shirt with blue or black pants

– Simple man – humble

– Cared deeply but that wasn’t shown easily (openly)

– A mark in the centre of his hand

– Was religious, held a cross when worried

– Strong connection to Mother- says also argued but loved

– Father, Son, Brother(if Brother does not make sense – a friend called him Brother)

– Had simple needs, a good provider

– He was showing me himself outside and building a fire

– Carved wood with his knife when sitting outside- carried a knife in his pocket

– Note up in the right corner relates to my own Grandfather coming to see me before I started to connect with this gentleman

– Male – He showed me himself as older but his picture is showing him younger

– Wears flannel/plaid

– Had deformity on the right side of his face/ear often covered by whiskers/brizzly non-trimmed beard

– Wheelchair bound- back/lower back deformity as well

– Right arm also smaller- didn’t completely grow

– Passionate about specific games, deep thinker

– Loved figuring out mystery movies

– Older image he showed me of himself when he first came through showed him wearing glasses and a wheelchair with control button on the right side

Message: Smile more it’s important to share a smile with people. It opens them up to share who they are with you

March 17th, 2024 (Medium: Maryalice Coleman)

– I should explain this gentleman came to me in a flannel shirt showing himself thin and fragile approx late 60’s -70’s and as I drew him his features showed him to me as a young man late 20’s-30 wearing a sailor uniform

– Name – James and also the name Stephen came through from him

– Very thin

– Complex thinker and had an abusive childhood

– Spent a lot time in fear but found peace in older years

– Had dizziness at the end of life

– Loved the birds, bees and flowers- he could be gentle and accepted in this environment

– Quieter, gentle and softer at the end of life

– This younger version was his fearful self that he wanted portrayed to us also with the scared looking eyes- it was important to show them this way in the portrait

– Broken nose -never healed properly- still uneven and this also brought an image to me of abuse when young as the reason

– Reddish brown, curly hair

– Slight dark hairs above mouth

– Baker, Mom, cherished by all

– Often took care of many more than just her family

– no one was turned away

– fed friends of their kids when they weren’t getting along with their parents. If kids ran away they went to “Moms’  house”- that’s what everyone called her. She took no time for herself. “Who does that? I don’t have time for that”, she was saying

– Fed all the kids- Was often seen walking and mixing something in a bowl for baking. – Heart issues- despite the size of her heart that she showed to others

– Her message is give! Give from the Heart 🩷 – Wore an apron a lot and almost never took it off – Passes before her time- too young

– Muscular, strong hand grips my hand

– Stocky build, muscular and lacked going to see the doctor

– I felt very shaky and felt anxious

– Having trouble spelling words correctly and neatly like I didn’t know how to spell things I know I can spell

– Bottom of eyelid on left eye had issues redness, puffy and redness in the left eye

– Felt like effects of a type of stroke affected him

– He shared with me that he is not in pain now 

– He said he sees life so differently now and knows time was waisted foolishly and in youth

– He is watching over a young boy

– He sees a garage/barn being built right now and watches things are done safely – this would have been his skill and wants to help from his side

– Other names that came in – Becca, Steven (Stevie)

– Was shown an image of a heart being held by a hand in what I feel is a tattoo image

– Was also shown to me was an image that looked like NL1985 with a border around it like how a license plate would look
